12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
12.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@comparesaveswitch.co.uk. We will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue informally before resorting to formal proceedings.
12.2 Mediation
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may request that the matter be referred to mediation. Mediation will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) or a comparable body agreed by both parties.
12.3 Arbitration (Optional)
If mediation does not resolve the matter, the parties may agree in writing to submit the dispute to binding arbitration. Arbitration will be conducted in England and Wales by a single arbitrator appointed under CIArb rules. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, except that you retain the right to pursue a claim in the courts if you prefer.
12.4 Right to Court Proceedings
Nothing in this section removes your statutory rights to bring a claim before the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may choose to reject arbitration and pursue your claim in court.
12.5 Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts, unless arbitration has been mutually agreed as the sole method of resolution.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated to you via email or prominent notice on our site. Please check back regularly to stay informed.
